Anatomy → Physiology → Molecule

Zoom from the whole body to a single ion channel.

Most 3D anatomy apps stop at the organ. Corpus keeps going: into the nephron, onto the membrane of one cell, down to each transporter, with its gene, what it carries, the hormones that tune it, the drugs that block it and the diseases that break it.

Runs in your browser. No account, no tracking, works offline once installed.

Levels

One continuous zoom, five levels deep

Every level is clickable and every structure explains itself. Breadcrumbs keep you oriented, and search jumps straight to any gene, drug or disease.

Features

Built to make physiology click

Physiology that runs

The heart beats, filtrate concentrates, oxygen loads and nerves fire. Move a slider and the whole system responds, from urine output to cardiac output.

Every transporter in place

Each pump, channel, carrier and receptor sits on the membrane where it is actually expressed, moving the right ions in the right ratio.

Drugs, hormones and diseases

Turn on furosemide, ADH, Bartter syndrome or cystic fibrosis and watch which transporters stop, speed up or appear, with the clinical consequences explained.

Narrated guided tours

Every level has a step-by-step tour that highlights each structure while it explains it. Turn on narration and it reads itself aloud.

Quiz modes

Find the spleen on the 3D body, or locate NKCC2 on a cell with every label hidden. Score yourself as you go.

Search by anything

Type a gene (SLC12A3), a drug (amiloride) or a disease (Liddle) and land on the exact transporter, with the condition already applied.

Simulators

Six labs you can break and fix

Each one is a quantitative teaching model with clinical presets.

Heart with Wiggers diagram

Cardiac cycle

Valves, chamber volumes and the conduction wave, synchronised with a Wiggers diagram and pressure–volume loop.

  • Heart rate, preload, contractility and afterload sliders
  • Aortic stenosis and mitral regurgitation, with murmurs
  • Zoom to the ventricular myocyte and SA-node ion channels
Open the cardiac cycle →
Nephron urine concentration model

Urine concentration

A countercurrent model of a juxtamedullary nephron. Tubular fluid changes colour with osmolality and thins out as it is reabsorbed.

  • ADH from water diuresis (50 mOsm/kg) to antidiuresis (1200)
  • Loop diuretics wash out the medullary gradient
  • Live urine osmolality, flow and daily volume
Open the nephron →
Glomerular filtration barrier with Starling forces

Glomerular filtration

Endothelium, basement membrane and podocytes with live Starling forces.

  • Afferent and efferent arteriolar tone, pressures and Kf
  • Presets for angiotensin II, NSAIDs, ACE inhibitors, SGLT2 inhibitors
  • GFR, renal plasma flow and filtration fraction
Open the glomerulus →
Alveolus with oxygen dissociation curve

Gas exchange

An alveolus with oxygen and CO₂ crossing the barrier, the oxyhaemoglobin curve and capillary equilibration.

  • Altitude, FiO₂, ventilation, pH, temperature, 2,3-BPG
  • Everest, fibrosis in exercise, CO poisoning, fetal haemoglobin
  • Arterial saturation, O₂ content and delivery
Open the alveolus →
Hodgkin–Huxley action potential simulator

Action potential

The Hodgkin–Huxley equations integrated live in your browser, with channel gates you can watch open and close.

  • Single pulses, paired pulses (refractory period), trains
  • Tetrodotoxin, lidocaine, TEA, hypocalcaemia
  • Extracellular K⁺ and temperature
Open the neuron →
Cardiomyocyte with action-potential-driven channels

Excitable cells

In the myocyte and pacemaker cell, an action-potential trace drives every channel in real time.

  • Class I, III and IV antiarrhythmics, digoxin
  • Long QT, CPVT, hyperkalaemia
  • Vagal and sympathetic control of heart rate

Questions

Good to know

How accurate is it?

Transporter locations, stoichiometries, genes, regulation and pharmacology follow standard physiology and pharmacology teaching. The quantitative models (urine concentration, Starling forces, the Wiggers diagram, gas exchange) are simplified teaching models that reproduce textbook values, not patient simulators.

Is the 3D body anatomically exact?

No. It is a schematic model built from simple shapes so it stays small and fast. Positions and relationships are right; shapes and proportions are approximate. The detailed accuracy lives in the organ, tissue and cell levels.

Who is it for?

Medical, nursing, pharmacy and physiology students, teachers who want something to project, and anyone curious about how the body works at the level of molecules.

Can I use it for clinical decisions?

No. Corpus is for learning. It does not give medical advice and should not guide diagnosis or treatment.
